As the days get longer and the weather warms up, it’s that time of year again for a little spring cleaning around our beautiful Willow Wood Village community!
Spring is the perfect opportunity to freshen up the exterior of our homes and enhance the overall appearance of our neighborhood. A few simple projects can make a big difference in keeping Willow Wood Village looking its best.
Here are a few ideas to consider:
- Pressure washing driveways, sidewalks, and patios
- Cleaning mold, mildew, or dirt from exterior walls, siding and fences
- Washing windows and screens
- Pruning trees and trimming bushes away from homes and walkways
- Removing weeds from flower beds and refreshing mulch
- Clearing debris from gutters and downspouts
- Repairing or repainting fences, shutters, or trim as needed
- Tidying up outdoor furniture and décor
- Ensuring trash and recycling bins are stored neatly out of view
These small efforts help maintain property values, enhance curb appeal, and keep our community welcoming and attractive for residents and visitors alike.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - PHASE II WATER SHORTAGE ORDER
ONE DAY PER WEEK WATERING EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 8, 2026
Dear Willow Wood Village Homeowners,
We would like to inform you that Pinellas County has instituted a Phase II Water Shortage Order due to below-average rainfall and declining water supplies throughout the region.
The Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) has issued this order, which includes Pinellas County and other surrounding counties under its jurisdiction. The order will go into effect on February 8, 2026.
As part of this directive, Pinellas County Utilities will move to a one-day-per-week watering schedule for all customers. The designated watering day for Willow Wood Village HOA will be Thursdays until further notice.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping conserve water during this period.

ATTENTION WILLOW WOOD VILLAGE HOMEOWNERS - NEW PAYMENT SYSTEM INFORMATION
Electronic Voting
The Willow Wood Village Annual Meeting is right around the corner—it’s set for November 13, 2025.
Last year, in August 2024, your Board of Directors kicked off the process of bringing Electronic Voting to our community. In June of this year, DeSantis Community Management mailed out a packet with all the details and a consent form so you could sign up for both Electronic Voting and Electronic Notices. If you missed it, don’t worry—you can find the whole packet on our website at willowwoodvillage.com under the tab “Electronic Voting.”
So why go Electronic? Well, it just makes life easier. With E-Voting, you can cast your ballot anytime a vote comes up—without rushing to a meeting or mailing paper back and forth. Lots of other HOAs are moving this way because the benefits really add up:
- Saves time and moneyby streamlining elections
- Boosts turnoutand makes it easier to hit quorum
- Convenient—no need to attend in person or mail envelopes
- Secure and accurate—owners are verified, reducing fraud risk
- Keeps a clear record for transparency and peace of mind
- Less paperwork and fewer headaches for everyone
- Fast results—votes are tallied in minutes, not hours
- Shorter meetings—no waiting around for ballot counts
As we get closer to the Annual Meeting, we’d love for every household to be signed up. If you haven’t already, please take a few minutes to fill out the Consent to Electronic Voting and/or Consent to Receive Electronic Notices Form - which I’ve attached to the bottom of this email.
👉 Deadline: Please return your form by September 15, 2025.
(You’ll find easy instructions at the bottom of the form for emailing or mailing it in.)
You can also bring your form to the Cabana during the Regular Board Meeting on September 9, 2025.

WWVHO - PICKLEBALL COURTS AND NETS
Hello Willow Wood Village Residents,
If you play pickleball, please note two items:
1. The community uses an app called Team Reach that is used to sign up to reserve each of the two pickleball courts and you can also reserve the Tennis Court using the Team Reach app. Please contact Lois Marotta at willowwoodlois@gmail.com for more information.
2. If you use the courts, it is important that you leave the nets exactly the way you found them.
This means:
* The net for court 1 is tied to the side of the court
* The net for court 2 is tucked into the tennis net with the top of the pickleball net linked under the tennis net and the bottom stand of the pickleball net underneath the tennis net.
Failure to return the nets to the correct position will result in the nets tearing/breaking and becoming unusable. Please see attached picture for example of what happens when the nets are not put away correctly.
