IQ FIBER OPTIC NETWORK UPDATE

Dear Homeowners,

You may recently have received a mailer from IQ Fiber indicating that construction of a 100% fiber-optic network may soon begin in the area. The notice suggested that construction crews could be installing underground or aerial fiber lines within existing utility right-of-way easements and that residents might see flags, paint markings, trucks, or workers in the neighborhood during daytime hours as part of that process.

The Association contacted IQ Fiber directly to clarify whether this work would occur within Willow Wood Village. The company has confirmed that construction will not be proceeding within the community at this time, as the Association renewed its bulk Internet and TV services agreement with Spectrum, effective September 29, 2025, for a five-year term. 

The neighborhood is therefore not currently scheduled for IQ Fiber construction. Should circumstances change in the future, the Board will communicate with homeowners in advance.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that under our current Spectrum agreement, Willow Wood Village homeowners pay only $60 per month for Internet and TV services as part of the $230 monthly HOA fees. This is excellent value for telecom services that the Association is able to provide to all 106 households within Willow Wood Village through our bulk services agreement. 

Important information about your Spectrum Internet, Spectrum TV and various streaming services included with our new agreement such as Paramount +, HBO Max, Disney +, Hulu, etc. is available on our website at willowwoodvillage.com under the Spectrum Cable Services tab.
